The Internet, Computers, WiFi
The Stockbridge Library has computers that patrons may use to access the CWMARS catalog as well as to go online to browse the Internet or get your e-mail. A librarian can show you how to use the computer to get to the card catalogue.
The library is also “wired” for wireless, high-speed access to the Internet within the building. This free service is accessible to anyone with a laptop of other personal device equipped with a wireless network interface card. A strong signal is available in all areas of the library for both PC and Apple users. WiFi allows users to work with their personal equipment, which is usually customized with relevant programs and passwords. This capability is particularly useful for students, researchers, and independent workers who can supplement their own computer with the extensive print and electronic resources of the library.
Copiers & Printers
A printer is available at the circulation desk. Copies are 15 cents a page.
A copying machine is in the alcove to the left of the front door. Copies are 15 cents a page. Please see the librarian at the circulation desk if you have any questions about usage.
Meeting and Tutoring Space
Meeting and tutoring space is available at the library by pre-arrangement with the director.
