Irish Fling

Enjoy a spring-green evening out at the Stockbridge Library’s Irish Fling! – a fun, local event at the former Plain School – now the Stockbridge Town Offices Building – that will feature Stockbridge’s very own opera star, Maureen O’Flynn, singing lovely Irish tunes, accompanied by Rob Putnam on keyboard and guitar and Teresa Mango on harp; and Pittsfield native Kevin O’Hara reading from his new, touching and funny memoir “A Lucky Irish Lad”.  Delicious Celtic-inspired snacks as well as beer and wine will be served…and Louis Caropreso will auction off a few great items including 4 Red Sox tickets, lunches at Wheatleigh and Blantyre, 3-night stays at a Washington, DC condo and a resort hotel in Ireland, and an overnight stay at a New York City boutique hotel.  The $40 ticket provides you with an evening of fun and supports a local library too!! What a win-win opportunity! Stop by the Stockbridge Library to make your reservation or give them a call at 298-5501 for further details.
