Sunday Afternoon with Dan Klein

            On Sunday, March 13, at 4:00 p.m., Dan Klein, local author and playwright, will speak at the Stockbridge Library about “Weird Ways a Writer Can Make a Living.” Dan is the author or co-author of numerous works of fiction and non-fiction including the New York Times bestseller (co-authored with Tom Cathcart), Plato and a Platypus Walk into a Bar and an Elvis Presley detective series (Blue Suede Clues, Kill Me Tender, Viva Las Vengeance). He also wrote the play, Mengelberg and Mahler, performed at Shakespeare & Company. Earlier in his career he wrote jokes for various comedians, including Flip Wilson and Lily Tomlin.

The program is free and will be followed by a reception with light refreshments.
