Sunday Speaker Series: Doug & Toddy Munson on “The Pellicular Burlesque”

The Monument Mills in Housatonic have been home to the Chicago Albumen Works for thirty years.  Doug and Toddy Munson, Co-Founders of Albumen Works, will describe its metamorphosis from a boutique antiquarian photo lab to an internationally recognized photograph conservation studio and how its work with deteriorated negatives came to assist in the identification of unidentified Korean War casualties.

The attached images show a deteriorated di-acetate negative before and after recovery.
