Sunday Speaker Series: The Berkshire Immigrant Experience

29183_117486108275255_5926183_nThe Berkshire Immigrant Experience, Immigration Law Today and the Prospects for its Reform

A panel discussion of local Berkshire immigrant advocates, immigration attorneys and a Berkshire County professional who attained a visa and lived to talk about it.  We will discuss the possible origins of the system’s current dysfunction and the political gridlock it provokes, the prospects for reform, a current demographic and statistical snapshot of immigrant communities living and thriving in Berkshire County and the subjective experience of a recent arrival.

This will be an open forum that looks for participation and an active discussion of the topic broadly.
