Helping Mothers and Children of the Refugee Crisis with Cari Naftali

Join us on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. for a presentation by Cari Naftali about her work with refugees – specifically mothers and children – in Greece.  Her first humanitarian mission took her to the island of Lesvos, where she worked with scores of refugees arriving daily on boats to the coast. On another trip she worked at a refugee camp near the Greek-Macedonian border, helping pregnant and nursing mothers and babies.  She will make a third trip in Spring 2017.

cari-naftali-with-babyCari is passionate about and dedicated to this current crisis and has up-to-date information that helps others to understand the situation.  Her presentation will be followed by time for questions and discussion.

About the presenter: Cari Naftali spent many years as a birth doula and assistant midwife and several years ago began practicing craniosacral therapy. She specializes with newborns and breastfeeding.
