Stories They Can Tell – Sites They Have Saved

Please join us on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. in the Bement Room for a program in connection with the Museum & Archives exhibit on the Stockbridge Fire Department.  After a short look at the history of the department, current and retired volunteer firemen will share memories of the fires they have fought – whether house, brush, or chimney fires – and rescues in which they have participated.  With the help of a dozen panels of photographs by Walter Scott, the men and the audience will discuss fire, the camaraderie of the hose companies, and the part the department has played in social activities in the town.
