Stockbridge Cemetery Inaugural Stroll

A Stroll Through the Stockbridge Cemetery

Self Guided Brochure

For our patrons and Library guests, we have created a new brochure that provides a self-guided exploration of the original cemetery.  They are intended for any individuals or families who care to learn more about how Stockbridge residents have been involved beyond the town borders.  The brochures are available at the circulation desk in the Library and in the Museum & Archives beginning October 1, 2019.  Topics include Early Settlers, Medicine, and the Arts plus the Sedgwick Pie and the Field Family.  This project is supported in part by a grant from the Stockbridge Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

Inaugural Stroll

October 5, 2019 at 2:15 p.m.

We invite you to join us for an inaugural, semi-self guided stroll through the Stockbridge Cemetery on Saturday, October 5th at 2:15 p.m.  Pick up a copy of the new brochure and reserve a place for the Stroll on the 5th.  The first twenty people to sign up will be assigned one of the graves to find.  During the program, they will be the reader for that former resident.
