Online Poetry: Medicine for the Soul

The Stockbridge Library, Museum & Archives invites you to join us for our new Online Poetry: Medicine for the Soul event to take place virtually on Wednesday April 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. This event will be hosted on The Stockbridge Library Zoom account.

On Wednesday, a poet will recite a number of poems and provide insight into one or several of the poems shared with a question and answer session immediately following. The poetry session will last one hour.
The Stockbridge Library Online Poetry: Medicine for the Soul will host poet, Jessica Piazza, at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15th. Jessica Piazza is the author of three prize-winning poetry collections and a children’s book. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Jessica now lives in Los Angeles, where she teaches Writing, Critical Thinking & Rhetoric a the University of Southern California. She is the recipient of the 2019 Amy Clampitt Residency, and co-founder of Bat City Review (Austin, TX) and Gold Lie Press (Los Angeles, CA.) Her recent work appears in Best American Poetry, Baltimore Review, Upstreet, and Smartish Pace.
