Wendy Mnookin received her BA from Radcliffe College and her MFA in Writing from Vermont College. She has received a writing fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts and a book prize from the New England Poetry Club. Her poems have been featured on Poetry Daily and The Writer’s Almanac.

Mnookin has taught poetry at Emerson College, Boston College, Grub Street–a writing center in Boston–as well as at various writing workshops. Her most recent book is Dinner with Emerson, from Tiger Bark Press. Her other books are The Moon Makes Its Own Plea, What He Took, and To Get Here, all from BOA Editions, and Guenever Speaks, a collection of persona poems.
