Children can dress up in their Halloween costumes and meet at the corner of Main & Pine Street at 6:00 PM and march up Main Street to the front lawn of the Stockbridge Library for cider & donuts, a Halloween Storytime at 6:30, a children’s craft table, and the pumpkin walk-about. Our library garden walkway will be transformed with ghosts, scarecrows, and jack-o-lanterns carved by local businesses and community members.
People interested in showcasing a Jack O’Lantern of their own should drop them off at the library anytime before 5:30pm on Oct. 25 and library staff will light and arrange them. You may take your pumpkin home at the end of the evening.
In case of rain the parade is cancelled. Events will continue at the Library.
These events are sponsored by the Stockbridge Library, Stockbridge Chamber of Commerce, Stockbridge Council on Aging, Town of Stockbridge, Prado de Lana Sheep Farm, the Red Lion Inn and Stockbridge Coffee & Tea.
