An Evening With Alison Larkin – Booklaunch & Library Fundraiser

Event Categories:

A Stockbridge Library fundraiser like no other!  Join us for an exhilarating evening bound to be both humorous and thought-provoking.

*Ticket purchasing details coming soon*

Alison Larkin will entertain and read excerpts from her brand new book, Grief… A Comedy, the “warm, funny, life-affirming follow up” to her hit one-woman show of the same name that critics called,

“Outstandingly uplifting…A story that could truly change your life.” -Entertainment Now

“A gorgeous love story. Leaves you believing joy really can be found after loss.” -The Daily Mail

The book starts when Alison’s fiancé, Bhima, shows up at her kitchen table six weeks after he died, determined to help her find love again.

It’s imaginary, of course. Or is it?

When Archbishop Desmond Tutu heard what happened, he insisted she tell this story as widely as possible, “because,” he said “it will bring hope.”

This evening’s presentation will be followed by a Q&A with the author.

Ticket price is $50 and will include a signed copy of Grief… A Comedy.
