Stockbridge Grange Agricultural Fair

In 1911 the Stockbridge Grange held their first annual agricultural fair. As the Grange is rooted in agriculture and community service it is no surprise that the tradition lasted for over 90 years. Exhibits consisted of examples of flowers and vegetables as well as needlecraft and other handiwork. Baked and canned goods were also exhibited and many exhibited in multiple fairs throughout the season.

Here we share two David Milton Jones pictures from the early 1940’s of a vegetable and flower display. The Stockbridge Grange fair was held in the Procter Hall. – September 14, 2025
