Join Mass Audubon naturalist Nicaela Haig to investigate the day-to-day lives of these remarkable animals. Learn about the amazing conservation success story of beavers, what goes on in a beaver pond through the seasons, and how you can find and make sense of beaver activity during your next outdoor adventure.
Presenter: Nicaela Haig is a teacher-naturalist with Mass Audubon based out of Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary in Lenox. Having connected people to wildlife as an environmental educator for over ten years, she currently leads public programs year-round in the Berkshires while supporting public programming throughout western Massachusetts. She has a lifelong fascination with the different ways that people and wildlife interact.
