Youth Services

We have many free programs, events and services for kids and families. Kids can get help with their homework or take part in summer learning programs. We offer storytimes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. We also support parents, caregivers, and teachers in their work with kids.

Bag of Books

We love putting together books for our little readers! You can find out how to get your bag of books by filling out our form.

Want to listen to stories read by our Youth Librarian? Catch a new story each Tuesday! Dial-A-Story offers a wide range of short stories for children aged preschool through Grade 3. The best part is, you can access this fun service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

Tails and Tales Summer Reading Program

The goal for this year’s summer reading is for every child to read at least 20 minutes per day, independently or being read aloud to. Reading 20 minutes per day will help children develop reading and vocabulary skills as well as help students prevent the “summer slide.” Click on the link below to learn more about our summer reading program this year!
