Author Martin Baron will be in conversation with Alan C. Miller discussing Martin’s new book Collision of Power: Trump, Bezos, and THE WASHINGTON POST.
Martin Baron is a longtime journalist and newspaper editor. He ran the newsrooms of The Miami Herald and The Boston Globe before being named executive editor of The Washington Post in 2013. Newsrooms led by Baron have won 17 Pulitzer Prizes, including 10 at The Post. Baron retired from daily journalism in early 2021 and now splits his time between Western Massachusetts and New York City. Collision of Power is his first book.
Alan C. Miller is the founder of the News Literacy Project, the leading provider of news literacy education in the country. Alan had a distinguished journalism career at The Times Union in Albany, New York, The Record in Hackensack, New Jersey, and then joined the Los Angeles Times, where he worked for 21 years, including 14 as a charter member of the Washington bureau’s high-profile investigative team.
