Join us on on Saturday, November 9, to hear from local author, Dr. Joyce E.  Butler, on her newly released book, Comparative Psychology and Educational Outcomes.

Joyce E. Butler is an educational consultant, specializing in systematic analysis and change, and educational/transition assessments that result in action plans, closing learning gaps and building upon strengths, preferences, and interests. Joyce Butler has been a general education teacher, special education teacher, principal, special education director, social skills coach, and adjunct professor in the university setting. She is certified as a reading specialist in Orton-Gillingham, holds a variety of professional certifications at the state level, and holds state and national Transition Certifications. Early in her career, she was a Research Assistant with the Psychology Department at Columbia University, USA, studying the sign-language acquisition return of a young, male chimpanzee.
