This course is held on three consecutive Tuesdays, June 4, 11, and 18 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
Heart-Based Meditation is a simple and easy daily practice that relieves stress, increases energy, supports healing, and encourages personal and spiritual growth and well-being. If you are seeking a way to release the stress and anxiety of everyday life and find a greater sense of peace, joy, and ease, I invite you to learn this life-enhancing practice.
Heart-Based Meditation does not require you to go to war with thoughts or quiet your mind. Here, thoughts are welcomed, allowed, and accepted as part of the practice. If you’ve tried other types of meditation and felt you “couldn’t do it”, I encourage you to try Heart-based Meditation and experience the effortless and enjoyable practice that everyone can do!
If you have any questions or would like more information before signing up, please feel free to contact Zach at backtotheheart106@gmail.com. If you are interested in the program but can’t make it during the scheduled time, please mention it to Zach.
Zach Rissman is a certified Heart-Based Meditation Teacher, trained through the New World Ayurveda School, also holding certifications in Spiritual Mentorship, Forest Bathing/Shinrin Yoku, and Mental Health First Aid.
He is driven by a deep love- a love for the world, a love for the Earth, a love for others, a love for the deeper Spirit, and a love for Life! He started his journey from a deep affection for the Natural World and was drawn to meditation through the realization that the more peaceful his inner state, the more he was able to truly take in the beauty of the Earth and of Life itself.
Now, as a meditation teacher, Zach finds deep fulfillment in opening doors for others to live a more peaceful, joyful, and authentic life. He embodies the practice of accompaniment- meeting others where they are and walking with them side-by-side toward healing. He holds a loving and safe space for people to show up as their authentic and whole selves and teaches with gentleness, compassion, attunement, and gratitude. With an open heart and an open mind, Zach creates opportunities for others to find their own path and their own light and stand deeply rooted in their unique gifts to share with the world.
