Pop-Up Art Show

Event Category:

CANCELLED DUE TO HIGH CHANCE OF RAIN

The Stockbridge Library, Museum & Archives invites you to a Pop-Up Art Show featuring local artists on the front lawn of the Library.  The featured artists will include Eva Schuster, and James Boneparth.

In addition to artists and the exhibit, the Stockbridge Library will host a pop-up book sale.

About the Artists:

Eva Schuster: Born in Germany, Eva dropped the idea of becoming a painter after her parents died under tragic circumstances when she was in her early 20’s. Eva searched for answers to questions like why are we here? And, is there meaning and purpose to life?  In 2012, Eva started painting again, and from the creative work, she found a deeper meaning in life, and answers to the questions that had led her along her path. “Painting is practice, it’s meditation, it’s surrender and agency, it’s a bridge from the unknown to the something material, leading us all back to the unknowable,” says Eva.

James Boneparth:  James started producing art as an angst ridden teenager at RISD.  After a long hiatus, he became inspired to use color pencil on coloring books.  He has since begun studying and practicing Abstract Art under the sage tutelage of Wednesday Sorokin at is183 in Stockbridge.
