Valentine Book Party with special guest Alison Larkin

Join us to celebrate love for libraries from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 pm. on Saturday, February 11! 

 

Enjoy listening to Alison Larkin, comedienne and award-winning audiobook narrator of The Complete Novels of Jane Austen read some of Austen’s most famous love scenes, select a book to purchase for the library in honor of someone special in your life, and bring the family to make your own valentines. Light refreshments and sweet treats will be served.

 

  • Enjoy a special reading in the Stockbridge Room with acclaimed Jane Austen audiobook narrator Alison Larkin at 12:00 p.m. “Larkin approaches Austen as a satirist” The New Yorker
  • Purchase books for the library from a large selection for children and adults and we will create a special bookplate to honor your valentine.
