This watercolor class with Lexi Weiner will explore some of the basic techniques of working with watercolor. It is all about the process and allowing ourselves to experiment with paint. No prior experience is needed!
Lexi Weiner is a painter based in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. She studied architecture at Lehigh University and the University of Pennsylvania. Lexi has been painting ever since she was a child and enjoys working in a wide variety of media including acrylic paint, watercolor, and gloss varnish. She is particularly interested in experimenting with paint using a variety of tools, both conventional and unconventional, to manipulate the structure of the paint as well as exploring a range of painting surfaces such as wood and plexiglass. Lexi has shown her work in various boutiques across the country as well as local galleries. She also owns and manages an online store called Evelyn’s Corner (www.evelynscorner.com).
Lexi is a member of the Berkshire Artist Guild and regularly paints at the Berkshire Art Center.
