Summer Reading 2025

 June 18 – August 16, 2024

The Stockbridge Library welcomes you to join our 2025 Youth Summer Reading Challenge. The theme this year is Color Our World — which is all about celebrating art and creativity at the library!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Visit!
    • Visit the Stockbridge Library to register for Summer Reading and pick up your reading log.
  1. Read or be read to!
    • Anything counts — picture books, chapter books, graphic novels, listening to audiobooks, and more!
  2. Log the time you read!
    • For every 20 minutes that you read or are read aloud, color a circle on your reading log.
  3. Come back to the library!
    • Bring your reading log back to the Library when the full sheet is colored in and pick up another reading log.
  4. Prizes!
    • Every kid who completes one reading log gets a free book and an entry to our grand prize drawing! Extra reading logs turned in count as additional entries to the raffle. Grand prizes include things such as science kits, art kits, and more!
    • Note: Your reading log must be submitted to the library by August 16th to be eligible for the prize drawing.
  1. Have fun!
    • Throughout the summer we will have numerous storytimes, crafts, and other fun events for you to attend! Check out our event calendar for a full list of our summer activities.
    • Library Lion will be hiding throughout the Library all summer long starting on June 18. Each week he will hide in a new spot, so visit weekly to look for him and to win a free book or small prize from our prize basket.
