Join us for Online Poetry: Medicine for the Soul featuring poet Mary Jo Salter on Wednesday, February 3 at Noon.

Mary Jo Salter is the author of eight collections of poems, most recently The Surveyors (2017), and a children’s book, The Moon Comes Home (1989).  She has been editor of Amy Clampitt’s Collected Poems and Selected Poems, and a co-editor of three editions of The Norton Anthology of Poetry, whose sixth edition was published in 2018. She also wrote the lyrics for composer Fred Hersch in the song cycle Rooms of Light: The Life of Photographs (2015). Salter is Krieger-Eisenhower Professor in The Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins University.
